

Call for Paper
The LUM University is delighted to welcome you to the 1st LUM Conference on Accounting & Finance Research.
This call for papers seeks contributions that delve into the evolving landscape of accounting and finance in the context of the SDGs. As the global community increasingly focuses on sustainable development, accounting and finance roles are becoming crucial in driving progress.
We invite papers that offer insights into the current challenges and opportunities companies face in these fields. Contributions should enhance the knowledge regarding the role of accounting and finance in supporting sustainable practices and contributing to achieving the SDGs. Academics and practitioners are encouraged to submit their research to foster a comprehensive discussion on integrating sustainability into financial and accounting practices.
Areas of interest
The Scientific Committee invites extensive participation from both academia and practitioners. Their valuable contributions can spark discussions, comparisons and evaluations of the current research landscape in accounting and finance for sustainable development. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Integrating SDGs into corporate reporting;
- Sustainable investment and green finance;
- Accounting for corporate sustainability;
- Managing environmental and social risks;
- Corporate governance for sustainable development;
- Public policies for sustainable development;
- Emerging technologies in accounting and finance for SDGs;
- Ethical considerations in sustainable accounting and finance;
- Partnerships and collaborations for sustainable development;
- Financial inclusion and access to capital for undeserved communities.
Participants are kindly invited to submit extended abstracts (at least 1,000 words, excluding references) of their research projects, working papers, and full papers. Contributions should be submitted and discussed in English. All extended abstracts and papers will undergo peer review prior to acceptance for the conference.
Extended abstract Submission
Extended abstracts should be at least 1,000 words and clearly state the purpose of the research, the methodology used, the results obtained, and the theoretical and practical implications.
Full Paper Submission
Full papers should be between 5,000 and 9,000 words, including references.
